Aloft & Element Midtown: Intern Adventures

In the middle of the coveted city of Tampa, a new community neighborhood better known as “Midtown” promises to provide an experience that keeps up with the latest lifestyle trends.

Aloft Midtown


This 3-star hotel is located in the midtown Tampa sector and is one of the ultimate destination districts. This aligns with Midtown’s vision of combining the Westshore and Downtown Tampa areas.


The hotel is energetic and contemporary and is close to Tampa’s international airport, the Raymond James Stadium, home to the Buccaneers, Bayshore, International Mall, and Downtown in general.


This casual hotel has a bar to relax and a to-go pantry-style diner for guests and visitors to grab easy-to-go meals and convenience items. Their accommodations are loft suites and have an artistic-forward style.


This Marriot BonVoy property offers complimentary breakfast and wifi, a rooftop pool, and a 24-hour gym open to its overnight visitors.


Dining


Due to both hotels' location in the bustling midtown area, the hotels encourage their visitors to try the local restaurants and establishments around the neighborhood to explore. However, options like Sal y Mar Rooftop offer small bites and cocktails for those interested in nightlife. On the other hand, Rise Breakfast Bar for comforting American-breakfast style meals.


Bella Brava Tampa


Nestled in between the popular fast-food chain Shake Shack and Sephora is Bella Brava, an Italian restaurant best known for the “Longest Happy Hour in Tampa Bay”. Crowned 2022’s Diner's Choice by Opentable the classic Italian-American restaurant that has two locations (one in St Petersburg, the other in Midtown Tampa), is a beloved trattoria open since 2003.

The Rhode Island Calamari Fritti ($15.99), is amongst the most popular appetizers featuring a cherry pepper sauce with roasted tomatoes. The Beef Carpaccio ($17.99) and Zuppa de la casa (house soup) offered in the $16.99 lunch menu offered from Monday to Friday are also popular options in the versatile menu.


The venue offers classic Tuscany-inspired dishes with the beloved American twist everyone knows and loves. For example, the Trattoria Chicken Parmesan ($15.99) features creamy pasta and a traditional fried chicken cutlet with Fontina Cheese and Prosciutto on top.

The popular Lasagna Bolognese ($18.99), is a covered dish offered during dinner and if you are lucky enough, lunch since it's not always ready due to its meticulous preparation before opening time, (11:30am).

The establishment offers cocktails, wines, and Coca-Cola products, as well as classic Italian desserts like the Trattoria Tiramisu ($13.99) accommodating to everyone's palate.


Element Midtown


Element is also a property owned by the Marriott BonVoy family and offers a luxury experience as a 4-star hotel. This deluxe hotel offers experiences to keep up with the latest artistic trends and opts to become a community neighborhood for those visiting Tampa and staying at Midtown.


The hotel is rooted in art and unifying the urban district and is entirely pet-friendly, open for travelers with pets, and offers extra amenities for those staying with their owners and who desire them.


This modern luxury proposal offers a relaxed reception bar with a to-go style pantry and signature heavenly beds for rest.


The hotel also has a rooftop bar called Sal Y Mar with cocktails and small bites and ergonomic workstations for those working and traveling during their stay.
